1What is a high-ticket sales funnel?
In high-ticket marketing, the funnel is the path from a stranger seeing your ad to a paid client, for offers too big to buy with one click. High ticket starts at about $5,000. Plan to collect about $4,000 of a $5,000 price once payment plans and refunds come out.
Many put the line lower: above about $1,000, get on a call. Buyers spending that much want to talk to a person first.
For the other options, see the main funnel types. For a sales funnel for coaches at any price, read the coaching funnel guide.

2What are the 6 pages of a high ticket funnel?
Each page has one job and one number. A low number tells you which page to fix.
| Page | Its job | Number to watch |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Ad | Make one promise to the right person | Cost per click |
| 2. Video or webinar | Teach, prove and sell the call | Play rate or attendance |
| 3. Application | About 3 questions that sort buyers | Completion |
| 4. Calendar | On the same page as the form | Booking rate |
| 5. Confirmation page | A short video so they show up ready | Show rate |
| 6. Sales call | Your closer makes the sale | Close rate, cash per call |
What goes on each page
The ad. One promise to one person in the first line. "Coaches at $20K a month: book 30 sales calls a month without posting every day." Name who it is for and the result. Leave the how for the video.
The video page. Three things, top to bottom: a headline, the video, the application. No menu, no extra links. For buyers with money, keep the video to 2 to 15 minutes. We script it in seven beats: the hook, why you, why it works when other things failed, the offer, the top three objections, who it is not for, and the next step. The investment stays off the video. Question 5 on the application sorts out who can invest.
The application and calendar. One flow. A few pick-list questions, then the time slot as the last question. Good fits land on the confirmation page. Poor fits land on a "not a fit" page with a cheaper offer, so part of the ad spend comes back. Fire your ad pixel only on the qualified confirmation page. Fire it on the not-a-fit page too and the ads learn to find more poor fits.
The confirmation page. One hero video first, then proof, then what happens next. Pick one of three hero videos:
- FAQ video. Answers the 3 to 5 questions your closer hears most. Under 5 minutes, with chapters. Best for complex offers and warm traffic.
- Urgency video. A real outside reason to act now: a market change, a rule change, a price rise they can check. 5 to 10 minutes. Best for cold traffic. In one funnel, an 8 minute urgency video raised show rate by 19%.
- Research video. You help them check you out: your reviews, your refund rate, what a search of your name shows. Best for $5,000+ offers and wary buyers.
Under it, 3 to 6 short videos that answer one question each. Then the number your team texts from, how long the call is and what it covers. Calls confirmed through the calendar invite show at about 85%, so tell them to open the invite and click "add". Never put a second pitch or the same video from the last page here.
1. What best describes you? [Buyer type A] / [Buyer type B] / [Buyer type C] / Other 2. What does your business make a month right now? Under $10K / $10K to $30K / $30K to $100K / $100K+ 3. What is the one thing in the way right now? (typed answer) 4. If we are a fit, how soon do you want to start? This week / This month / Just looking 5. The program is a [$X to $Y] investment. If it is the right fit, are you in a position to invest that? Yes / Yes, with a payment plan / No 6. Are you the one who makes this decision? Yes / With a partner, who will join the call 7. Pick a time (next 72 hours only) Route "No" on 5 or "Just looking" on 4 to the not-a-fit page. Have a setter call them anyway. People undersell themselves on forms.
Behind the pages sit the parts buyers never see: texts, calls, reminders and a CRM. That is where most funnels leak.
3Which front end: VSL, webinar or application?
| Front end | Best when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| VSL | Buyers know the problem and want a fast answer | Low play rate |
| Webinar | Buyers need teaching and trust first | Low attendance |
| Application first | Cost per call is too high on a video page | Fewer, colder calls without setters |
Calls booked from a webinar show at 70% or better and close at 35% or better, because the webinar already did the teaching. In one funnel, sending ads straight to the application and moving the video to the next page cut cost per qualified call from about $550 to about $100.
The chooser on funnel types picks one from your price and audience.
4What numbers should each step hit?
These are what operators running high ticket call funnels commonly report, not Cashflow Coaches results.
| Number | Benchmark |
|---|---|
| Cost per 1,000 ad views | $30 to $80 |
| Link click rate | about 2% |
| Clicks that become booked calls | 3% to 5% |
| Cost per booked call | $100 to $300; $500 to $1,000 for long sales cycles or very big tickets |
| Application questions | about 3 typed questions |
| Form and calendar on separate pages | about half of qualified applicants never book |
| Show rate, cold ads | 60%+ target; plan on 40% to 50% while testing |
| Close rate, one call | 25% target, 20% to 25% usual, 30%+ above average |
| Cash back on ad spend | at least $1.20 for every $1 of ads |

The defaults are Nina's, a made-up consultant with an $8,000 offer.
Closers take about 8 booked calls a day, kept near 80% full.

We only use this to send your numbers and to follow up about your client acquisition. If you add a mobile, we may call or text you about it.6How do you get people to show up to the call?
A booked call that no one attends still cost you the full price. Show rate is the cheapest number to raise because the traffic is already paid for.
| Show rate | Benchmark |
|---|---|
| Industry average | about 50% |
| Realistic best case, coaching | 60% to 70% |
| Below 30% | usually a tech or setup problem |
Book close in first. Some operators only offer same-day and next-day calls. Others cap the window at about 72 hours. Then run this schedule on every booked call.
| When | Who sends it | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| Within 5 minutes of booking | The setter, by text | Confirms the time and asks for a "yes" reply. Text within 2 to 3 minutes and call within 5 to 7. |
| Within a few hours | The closer, by video | A 20 to 30 second selfie video that names the lead and one of their form answers |
| 27 hours before | The setter | A confirm request at 27 hours, not 24, so an unconfirmed call can be freed after a full day. |
| Morning of the call | The closer | A personal note that shows prep you did for them |
| 1 hour before | Automatic | The link and the time, with the time zone |
TEXT, WITHIN 5 MINUTES Hi [Name], it's [Setter] from [Business]. You're booked with [Closer] on [Day] at [Time, time zone]. Reply YES so I know this reached you. SELFIE VIDEO, WITHIN A FEW HOURS (20 to 30 seconds) "Hey [Name], it's [Closer]. We're on for [Day] at [Time]. This is my own phone, so text me any time before then. I read your form and saw you said [their answer]. I have a short video on exactly that. Want me to send it over? See you [Day]." TEXT, 27 HOURS BEFORE Hi [Name], still good for [Time] tomorrow? Reply YES to keep your spot, or tell me a better time. TEXT, MORNING OF Morning [Name]. I looked at [their business or goal] before our call and have two ideas for you on [their bottleneck]. Talk at [Time]. TEXT, 1 HOUR BEFORE See you at [Time, time zone]. Here's the link: [link]
One client's booking flow we built booked 664 calls in three months. Not typical. The full reminder plan is on sales call show rate, and you can price yours with the show rate calculator.
7Who calls whom: setters and closers
A setter calls and texts high-ticket leads and books calls. A closer takes the sales call. In a high ticket funnel you usually need both.
| Question | Benchmark |
|---|---|
| Do leads book on their own? | Only about 10% do; setters book 60% to 70% of calls by calling every opt-in and half-done form |
| Setter output | about 4 calls a day from about 100 messages; 2 setters per closer |
| Closer target | 25% on a one-call close |
| Price check | close 18% to 30% of live calls; far below that, the price may be too high |
| When to hire a closer | once the founder closes 30% over hundreds of calls, holds a 70% show rate and is fully booked |
| A new closer's first months | about half the founder's close rate |
| How full to book a closer | 80% to 90% of their calendar |
Log why every lost call was lost. "Lead quality is bad" tells you nothing. Have the closer pick one reason after each call that did not close: can't afford it, unsure what they get, too many open questions, partner not on the call, timing, or doesn't trust us yet. Each reason has a fix. "Can't afford it" means change the form or the ads. "Too many open questions" means a new video on the confirmation page. "Partner not on the call" means ask about partners on the form.

8What do real high ticket funnel examples look like?
Past results from our own client builds. Not typical.
| Client | The funnel | Result |
|---|---|---|
| B2B offer, $15,000 | Meta ads, a webinar, a booking flow to diallers and closers | $66 per booked call, before retargeting was on. One sale pays for about 227 calls. |
| New education offer, cold traffic | Meta ads, live webinar, emails and texts, booking flow, setter scripts, CRM, built in 14 days | $1,230,101 in 60 days from 300+ booked calls, up to $3,862 cash per booked call |
| Creator, 1.1M followers | Low-ticket front end, ascension, a qualified booking flow and follow-up | From $15K to $20K months to $95K cash in month three |
At up to $3,862 cash per booked call, even a pricey call pays. Cash per call matters more than cost per call.
9High ticket coaching funnel vs B2B funnel
| Coaching | B2B consulting or service | |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer | One person, often their own money | An owner or a team, company money |
| Sales cycle | Days | Longer; more than one person decides |
| Cost per booked call | $100 to $300 commonly modelled | up to $500 to $1,000 for long cycles |
| Cost to win a client | about $2,000 for a $10K to $15K client, in one operator's business | about $3,000, give or take $1,500 |
| Front end that fits | Webinar or VSL | Webinar or VSL, with a decision maker question on the form |
The pages are the same. What changes is how long you follow up and who must be on the call. The questions that sort buyers are on application funnel.
10Worked example: Nina fixes her show rate
Nina is a made-up consultant with an $8,000 offer. She collects 80% of the price, closes 20% and pays $250 per booked call. Only 45% of her calls show up.
| Line | The maths | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Cash per sale | $8,000 × 80% | $6,400 |
| Cash per booked call | $6,400 × 45% × 20% | $576 |
| Return on ad spend | $576 ÷ $250 | 2.3x |
| Max per call at 3x | $576 ÷ 3 | $192 |
She pays $250 but can only afford $192. She adds the booking texts from section 6, a confirmation video, and a 72 hour booking window. Her show rate goes to 65%. Same ads, same price.
Her cash per booked call goes from $576 to $832, a 3.3x return, and she can now afford up to $277 a call. She still pays $250.
11How do you build a high ticket funnel?
- Prove the offer. Wait for 15 to 30 clients with results in the promised time.
- Pick the front end. VSL, webinar or application, from the table above.
- Write it from your sales calls. Answer the questions buyers ask most, in the order they ask.
- Put the form and calendar on one page. About three questions.
- Add the confirmation page and reminders. A video, texts and emails.
- Staff the phones. Setters on every lead, a closer on every call.
- Track cash per booked call. Then fix the weakest number first.
To have it built, see the done-for-you funnel or the done-for-you VSL funnel. The full map of every stage is on sales funnel.
12What to do this week: find your leak and the one fix
Put in last month's numbers. Structural leaks come first, because they cost you on every lead.
| Step | Yours | Grade |
|---|
Once the fix is in, run the calculator again. When every step grades good, the next move is more ad spend and a second closer, not a new funnel. If you want us to build the system around those numbers, see if you qualify.

Frequently asked questions
What is a high ticket funnel?
A high ticket funnel sells an offer of $5,000 or more through a sales call instead of a checkout. It runs from an ad to a video or webinar, an application, a calendar, a confirmation page and the call.
Does high ticket sales really make money?
It can, but not by itself. It makes money when the offer already gets results, the call is worth more than it costs, and a real team works the leads. Many funnels lose money because the offer is not proven or nobody calls the leads. Run your own numbers in the calculator before you spend.
What is high ticket coaching?
High ticket coaching is a coaching program sold for about $5,000 or more, usually on a sales call. High ticket usually starts at $5,000. Many put the line for selling on a call lower, at about $1,000. Above that line, buyers want to talk to a person first.
What is a good cost per booked call?
Plan on $100 to $300 per booked call, and $500 to $1,000 for long sales cycles or very big tickets. The right number for you is your max: price times cash collected times show rate times close rate, divided by the return you want.
What show rate should a high ticket funnel get?
Operators commonly report about 50% as the industry average and 60% to 70% as a realistic best case. Below 30% usually means a tech or setup problem.
What close rate is normal on high ticket calls?
20% to 25% is usual on a one-call close, with 25% as the target and 30% or more as above average.
Do I need setters and closers?
Usually. Only about 10% of leads book a call on their own. Setters book most calls by calling every lead. You can close yourself at first and hire a closer once you are fully booked.
How much does a high ticket funnel cost to build?
Two costs: the build and the ads. A done-for-you build from Cashflow Coaches is a one-time five-figure install, with the exact number on a call. Ad spend is separate and paid from your own ad account, from $150 a day.
Bring your max cost per call to the call.
