1What is a done-for-you VSL funnel?
Someone else builds the whole VSL funnel for you. A VSL is a video sales letter, one video that explains the problem, your method, your proof and the next step. The funnel is everything around it, from the ad to the call. This is the VSL Engine of the Cashflow Coaches Scaling System. For how VSL funnels work, with VSL funnel examples, read our VSL funnel guide. To compare it with webinars and applications, see funnel types.
You don't learn funnels, manage freelancers or write emails. You record a few short videos from scripts we write, approve each piece, and take the calls. You own the ad account, pages, list and data.
The video is one step. The calls come from the opt-in, the follow-up, the booking flow and the reminders around it. Operators running high ticket call funnels commonly report only about 10% of leads book on their own, so setters calling the rest matter as much as the video. Not sure the video is your problem? Find the exact bottleneck in your business first.

2What do we build for you?
| Piece | What you get |
|---|---|
| Ads | We write, design and launch them. You start with 30 ready-made static ads. You never open Ads Manager. |
| Opt-in page | Name and email before the video, so every lead gets a call and emails |
| The VSL script | Written from your real sales calls: the questions buyers ask most, in order, ending on a booked call |
| VSL page | Your VSL website: the video, with the apply button shown once the video reaches the offer |
| Application and calendar | About three questions and the calendar in one flow. Leave halfway? We still save the lead. |
| Confirmation page | A short video that gets people ready for the call |
| Follow-up | Emails and texts that remind everyone until they show up |
| Sales scripts | Scripts for setters and closers, plus reviews of recorded calls |
| Tracking | CashTracker.io, our own software: ad spend, calls, show rate, close rate and cash on one screen |
Why each piece is there:
- 30 ads, not 3. Only 1 or 2 out of 30 ads tend to win, so testing 10 or 15 can make ads look like they don't work.
- An opt-in first. In one split test with the same ads and spend, the funnel with an opt-in returned 10x on ad spend against 2.7x without.
- A script from your calls. The strongest VSLs answer the most asked sales call questions, in order. In one case that cut the cost per qualified call to $80 to $90, against a usual $200 to $300.
- Application and calendar together. Split them, and about half of qualified applicants never book. Together, the drop is about 16%. About three typed questions is the common sweet spot.
- A video on the confirmation page. In one funnel, one video on the confirmation page raised show rate by 19%.
- Fast follow-up. Operators commonly text within 2 to 3 minutes and call within 5 to 7.
Follow-up is where most funnels leak, so we write it from your stories and your clients' own words. For one client that meant 2.6M emails in 90 days at a 71.86% open rate. Results are not typical.
3What does a done-for-you VSL include?
Seven sections, in the order a buyer's questions come up on a sales call. Leave one question unanswered and the viewer stops hearing everything after it. Timings are for a 10 minute VSL at about 150 words a minute. Two sections carry most of the length: why people buy, and the objections.
| Section | Time | What to say |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Hook | 0:00 to 0:15 | Who it is for and the result, in one breath. Repeat the ad's promise. Never open with "welcome" or your life story. In one 8 minute VSL, opening with a self-introduction left the average viewer watching about 9.5% of it. |
| 2. Why you | 0:15 to 1:00 | Your most specific proof, the kind you would say face to face. A line like "212 clients since 2021, 4 refunds" beats "as featured in". Exact numbers sound true. Round ones sound like marketing. |
| 3. Why people buy | 1:00 to 3:30 | The number one reason clients buy, then the next two. One slide each, with a client who bought for that reason. Name the smaller reasons and move on. |
| 4. The offer | 3:30 to 4:30 | What they get and the result it brings, said plainly. The investment is never in the video; it is discussed on the call. No made-up "worth $10,000" values. They make buyers trust you less. |
| 5. Objections | 4:30 to 8:30 | The top reasons people say no on your calls, each answered with proof. Business owners need 2 or 3 real ones. The general public needs 4 or 5, including money. |
| 6. Who it is for | 8:30 to 9:15 | Who it is for, and who should not apply. The wrong people leave. The right people lean in. |
| 7. Next step | 9:15 to 10:00 | One action: answer a few questions and pick a time. Say what happens on the call. The apply button shows once the video reaches the offer, so your team only talks to people who heard it. |
This order mirrors a good sales call, and it is a common VSL flow among operators running call funnels. We write every section from your recorded calls. You record it, most often as plain slides with your voice. For business owners, plain slides tend to beat polished designs.
The page around it stays bare: a headline that repeats the ad, the video, then the apply button. Nothing to scroll and read instead of watching.
Want to write it yourself first? Get the VSL master Claude skill. It takes your sales calls and builds all seven sections with timings. For a fill-in version, use the VSL script template or the video sales letter template.
4Done-for-you VSL funnel vs a Fiverr VSL gig: what do you get?
A Fiverr gig gets you a video. The funnel around it is what books calls.
| Full done-for-you VSL funnel (us) | Fiverr VSL gig | Build it yourself | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | The VSL plus ads, opt-in, page, application, calendar, follow-up, sales scripts and tracking | A script, a video, or both | Whatever you build |
| Who writes the script | Us, from your recorded sales calls | The seller, usually from a form you fill in | You |
| Ads | 30 static ads, written and launched | Not included | You |
| Booking and follow-up | Application and calendar in one flow, emails and texts until they show | Not included | You build them |
| Tracking | Spend, calls, show rate, close rate and cash on one screen | Not included | You set it up |
| What you pay | A one-time five-figure install | A flat fee per gig, set by each seller | Software, test ads and your hours |
| Time to live | 14 days, or we work for free | The video arrives; the funnel is still on you | As long as your spare hours allow |
| Best when | Your offer sells and you want calls booked, fast | You already have a working funnel and only need the video | You have time and want to learn |
If you already have ads, a calendar and follow-up that work, a gig can be enough. If you don't, the video alone won't book calls. Comparing us with a monthly agency instead? Read agency vs done-for-you, or compare every done-for-you sales funnel on the done-for-you funnel page.
Questions to ask any done-for-you VSL provider
Send these before you pay anyone, us included. Vague answers are your answer.
1. Will you write the script from my recorded sales calls, or from a form? 2. Does the VSL sell the call, and leave the investment for the call? 3. What is included besides the video: ads, opt-in, application, calendar, reminders, tracking? 4. Are the application and the calendar in one step, or two pages? 5. Who owns the ad account, the pages, the list and the data when we stop working together? 6. How many ads do you launch in the first month? 7. Which numbers will I see each week: play rate, cost per booked call, show rate, close rate, cash? 8. What date will it be live, and what happens if you miss it? 9. Is there a monthly fee after the build? What does it cover? 10. Can I speak to two clients you built a VSL funnel for in the last six months?
5How long should a VSL be?
For coaches and consultants selling to business owners, 2 to 15 minutes, and often under 10. Selling to the general public takes longer, because they need more trust. Make it as long as it takes to answer your buyers' top questions, then let the watch data decide.
| Who is buying | Length that works |
|---|---|
| Business owners and high earners | 2 to 15 minutes, often under 10 |
| Investors and capital raising | 2 minutes or less |
| General public | Start at 5 to 10 minutes. Go no longer than about 60. |
| A call funnel VSL with an apply button | 7 to 20 minutes, with the button at the offer, around minute 12 of 20 |
Watch two numbers. Play rate is the share of visitors who press play. Engagement is how much they watch: 50% on a 10 minute VSL means about 5 minutes. High play rate and low engagement means the opening breaks the ad's promise. Fix the first 30 seconds before you cut length. A play rate of 30% and up is good.
| What the retention graph shows | What it means | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| A steep drop in the first seconds | The hook does not match the ad | Rewrite the opening to repeat the ad's promise |
| A sharp drop in the middle | A question went unanswered | Find the section at the drop and answer the question it raised |
| A slow, steady slope | Normal | Leave it alone and work on the ads |
| A big early drop, then flat (long VSLs) | The wrong people leave early | Normal for 20 minutes or more |
To pick a length for your offer, use the length finder on the video sales letter page.
6How do the 14 days work?
The clock starts at kickoff.
| When | What happens | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Kickoff call. We go through your offer, your buyers and your sales calls. | Both |
| Within 72 hours | You send access: ad account, domain, calendar, recorded sales calls | You |
| Next | We write the VSL script, the ads, the pages, the emails, the texts and the sales scripts | Us |
| Within 72 hours of scripts | You record three short videos from the scripts we write | You |
| As each piece is ready | You approve it within 48 hours | You |
| By day 12 | You fund the ad account | You |
| Day 14 | Live and taking bookings | Us |
| The next 30 days | We stay with you until it is booking calls | Us |
If the full system isn't live and taking bookings within 14 days of kickoff, we keep working for free until it is. The clock pauses while a step is waiting on you.
7Who is it for, and who is it not for?
- Coaches, consultants and experts
- An offer that already closes on calls
- You or a closer can take the calls
- You can fund ads from $150 a day
- The offer hasn't sold yet
- You want someone to fund your ads for a cut
- You want a template and a report
- No one can take the sales calls
If your offer hasn't sold yet, we will tell you to fix that first. We don't rebuild your offer. We give it a new channel.
If the fit list is you, see if you qualify.
8What does a done-for-you VSL funnel cost?
Two costs. The build is a one-time five-figure install, with the exact number on the call. There is no retainer to start. Ad spend is separate. You pay it straight to Meta from your own ad account, from $150 a day.
High ticket call funnels usually run $100 to $300 per booked call, and $500 to $1,000 for long sales cycles or very big tickets. Webinar funnel cost has the full build breakdown, and a VSL funnel works the same way.
9What does a booked call cost you, and what can you pay?
Put in one month of numbers. The starting numbers are Leo's, a made-up sales trainer with an $8,000 offer, before his fix.
Under 1.2x loses money. 1.2x to 3x is thin. 3x and up is healthy.
Step check against benchmarks
| Step | Yours | Benchmark | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost per booked call | $240 | $100 to $300 | In range |
| Show rate | 40% | 60%+ | Below |
| Close rate | 20% | 25%+ | Below |
Weakest step: show rate. Lift it to 60% and revenue goes from $16,000 to $24,000.
For a deeper funnel model with clicks, opt-ins and watch rate, use the math tool in the VSL funnel guide. For cost per client across every channel, use the client acquisition cost calculator or the ROAS calculator.
Want your numbers sent to you?
Leave your email and we will send you this breakdown, plus the one step we would fix first.
We only use this to send your numbers and to follow up about your client acquisition. If you add a mobile, we may call or text you about it.10What has this done for real clients?
From one client's booking report. Not typical.
A qualified booking flow also took one creator from lumpy $15K months to $95K cash collected in a month. If you would rather teach live, the same team built the webinars behind $0 to $1,230,101 in 60 days, and one webinar that brought back $326,552 on $8,836 of ads (36.96x).
11Worked example: Leo fixes his show rate
Leo is a made-up sales trainer with an $8,000 offer. He spends $6,000 a month on ads, and a booked call costs him $240.
| Line | The maths | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Booked calls | $6,000 ÷ $240 | 25 |
| Calls that showed | 25 × 40% | 10 |
| New clients | 10 × 20% | 2 |
| Revenue | 2 × $8,000 | $16,000 (2.7x) |
| Break-even cost per call | $8,000 × 40% × 20% | $640 |
His calls cost $240, which is in range. The leak is after the booking. His calls book a week out, there is no confirmation video and nobody texts. He moves the calendar to within 72 hours, adds a short confirmation video and sends reminders by email and text. His show rate goes to 60%. Nothing else changes.
- 25 booked, 10 showed
- 2 clients
- 2.7x on ad spend
- 25 booked, 15 showed
- 3 clients
- 4.0x on ad spend
Made-up example. Same ads, same $6,000. Break-even per call went from $640 to $960.
Keep the booking window under about 72 hours. If close rate is the weak step instead, read high ticket sales or how to hire a high ticket closer.
12VSL funnel or webinar funnel?
| VSL funnel | Webinar funnel | |
|---|---|---|
| Best when buyers | Already know the problem and want a fast answer | Need more teaching and trust first |
| Runs | Every day, always on | On a set schedule |
| Video length | 2 to 15 minutes for business owners, often under 10 | About an hour or more |
We pick the right one with you on the call. Many clients run both. See the done-for-you webinar funnel for the other side, or how both fit into a full sales funnel.
13What to do this week
- Put your price, show rate and close rate in the calculator. Write down your break-even cost per call.
- Pull 10 recorded sales calls. List the questions buyers ask most, most common first. That list becomes your VSL.
- Check your booking window. If calls book more than 72 hours out, close it in.
- Time how long it takes your team to text a new lead. Aim for under 3 minutes.
- Answer the six questions below to find the one thing to fix first.
- Bring your numbers and your list of questions to the call.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a done-for-you VSL funnel cost?
It is a one-time five-figure install, with the exact number on the call. There is no retainer to start. Ad spend is separate and paid straight to Meta from your own ad account, from $150 a day.
How long does it take to build a VSL funnel?
We build and launch the whole funnel in 14 days from kickoff. If it isn't live and taking bookings by then, we keep working for free until it is. Then we stay 30 more days until it is booking calls.
What do I have to do?
Very little. A kickoff call, three short videos you record from scripts we write, and quick approvals as each piece is ready. Send access within 72 hours, record within 72 hours of getting the scripts, approve within 48 hours and fund the ad account by day 12.
How long should a VSL be?
For business owners and high earners, operators commonly report 2 to 15 minutes working, often under 10. For the general public, start at 5 to 10 minutes and go no longer than about 60. Then let play rate and watch time decide.
Do you guarantee results?
No. Our guarantee covers the build being live on time. The results on this page are real, but they aren't typical, and yours will depend on your offer, your ad spend and how well your team works the calls.
Is a done-for-you VSL better than a Fiverr VSL gig?
It depends on what you already have. A gig gets you a script or a video. A done-for-you VSL funnel also builds the ads, opt-in, booking, follow-up and tracking that turn the video into booked calls. If those already work for you, a gig can be enough.
What is VSL writing?
VSL writing is writing the script for a video sales letter: the hook, proof, plan, objections, offer and next step. The strongest scripts answer the questions buyers ask most on your sales calls, in the order they ask them.
Should I get a VSL funnel or a webinar funnel?
A VSL funnel suits buyers who already know the problem and want a fast answer. A webinar suits buyers who need more teaching and trust first. We pick it with you on the call, and many clients run both.
Bring your numbers to the call.
